Personal Statement:
If you are looking at this website and reading profiles of therapists, you are most likely having a difficult time with some life transition and/or issue and are looking for help. I commend you for that. Exploring the option of therapy when things are difficult can be an intimidating and extremely important process.

My goal as a therapist is to use empathy and understanding to provide a safe place for healing. I work closely with clients to help them explore and work through that which is making life feel painful and difficult. I believe we all develop ways of "getting by", especially when things are hard. I have seen time and time again that therapy can help in developing better, more functional coping mechanisms helping the individual to thrive as well as to feel more empowered in their life. It is incredibly rewarding to be part of the process with clients as they begin to make shifts in their ways of understanding and doing things and begin to truly realize life goals. I am active in treatment and use an eclectic theoretical approach depending upon the client situation.
